Tzar caviar has earned the right to be consumed in the same royal way as the ‘’black gold’’. The usage of silver or metal spoon will influence the taste in a negative way. With a spoon made of bone, natural horn or mother of pearl the real taste will come to full advantage.

How to act?

Make a fist of your hand and put a spoon of granulated fish eggs on the surface where you thumb meets your index finger. You suck the eggs from your hand and splash them against your palate until the break. Experience the light salty aroma and enjoy! Obviously Tzar Caviar is also very suitable to be used in various other dishes in which caviar is used. Simply replace the caviar for Tzar caviar

Some simply tips for preparing and suggestions to serve.

Cook eggs to taste hard or soft. When cooked hard: peel, halfen and decorate with a spoon of Tzar caviar. When preferred cooked softly, then serve in an egg cup, remove the top and garnish generously with Tzar Caviar on top. Delicious with warm toast and real butter! In Russia it is a tradition to serve caviar with blini’s ( small pancakes ) and crème fraîche. If you choose for complete tradition then the following ingredients should not be missing: chopped egg whites, chopped egg yolks, minced red or white onion, chopped chives. This cut very fine and served in separate little bowls.

Tzar Caviar Avocado Mousse

Stir 2,5dl whipped cream until stiff. Mix a ripe avocado until mashed fine and mix this through the whipped cream. Bring to taste with sea salt and fresh pepper and divide this in chique bowls. Put some Tzar Caviar on top and/or stir through the mix.





Tzar Caviar with smoked salmon

Quickly prepared and a very tasty appetizer or main course is a combination of Tzar Caviar and smoked Salmon. A bit of crème fraîche, chives or parsley along with it and the plates can be served! We give our preference to a centre cut fillet, where you can cut perfect slices of with a delicious `bite`.

Tzar Caviar Potatoes

Cook some Roseval potatoes in the skin, then break them, but not completely in half. Put on every half some crème fraise and Tzar Caviar on top. Garnish with chopped dill.
